The Keystone Historical Society museum is in the Keystone School building, where Carrie's step-children attended. Built in 1899, the school served as Keystone's full-time school until 1988.

Every August 3 is Carrie Ingalls Day. An open house and birthday cake are a part of the celebration. There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated.
