McGuffey’s Eclectic Primer

This is the McGuffey’s Eclectic Primer, a school book common amongst children while Laura attended school.  The series of books also featured heavily in the Little House on the Prairie television show.

This is the Eclectic Primer, which was the first reading book for the youngest children in school or for those taught at home.
