Monday-Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sundays 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Food booths, Little House on the Prairie Re-enactments by the Mike and Cathy Bush Family, entertainment, period craftsmen, kids activity tent, petting zoo, Little House Character contest, large display of antique farm equipment, wagon rides on the prairie.

How to get there:

The Little House on the Prairie Historical Site is located 13 miles southwest of Independence, just off Highway 75. Green and white historical markers mark the way. Independence itself is located in southeast Kansas at the junction of Highways 160 and 75. The nearest airport is 90 miles away, in Tulsa. Tulsa is about 90 miles away. The site is about 125 miles from Wichita, Kansas, and about 180 miles away from Kansas City, Missouri.
