When you read Little House in the Big Woods, you can see just how different Laura’s life was compared to life today. There was no electricity, they couldn’t quickly run to the store to pick up groceries, and even the small number of toys they had then were quite different from most of the toys today.
Use this worksheet to come up with several things comparing how they were in Laura’s time in the Big Woods and how they are in your life today.
