Was Angelina Jolie on Little House on the Prairie?

Angelina Jolie did not make any appearances on the Little House on the Prairie television show, but she does have a connection to the series and was wanted for a role.

It was confirmed in leaked documents several years ago that Angelina was being considered for a role on a movie adaptation of Little House on the Prairie, presumably as Caroline Ingalls.  But while she considered the role, she ultimately turned it down, thinking someone else would be better suited to the role than her.  There has been no recent update on the Little House movie other than from these leaked Sony documents.
