Howard Morris was an accomplished actor during the time period that Little House on the Prairie aired. During the run of Little House on the Prairie, he was doing a lot of voice over work, as well as appearing on Trapper John, M.D.
He did not appear on Little House on the Prairie, either as an actor or as a director, although he was a director on many other television shows for single episodes over the years.
