Who did Lance Kerwin Play on Little House on the Prairie?

Lance Kerwin, who passed away in 2023, guest starred in one episode of Little House on the Prairie, and had a pretty significant role in the episode as a young child.  He portrayed Danny Peters in the episode 100 mile walk.

In the episode, Danny’s father worked with Charles Ingalls in the mine where many of the men from Walnut Grove had gone to in order to earn money after the wheat crop was destroyed in a hailstorm.  Danny’s father, Jack Peters, was the man who got Charles a well-paying but dangerous job in the mines.  After a mining competition, Jack is killed in an accidental dynamite explosion.  Charles, who won the competition, travels to visit Jack’s wife and son, and gives them the prize award.
