Willie Oleson marries Rachel Brown in season 9 of the Little House on the Prairie television show in the episode May I Have This Dance. In true Harriet Oleson fashion, she tries everything she can to prevent Willie from marrying Rachel, because while Rachel is beautiful, Harriet doesn’t feel Rachel is well enough off for Willie to marry.
At the end of the episode, Willie finally stands up to his mother when he learns how much Harriet has upset Rachel, and then Willie and Rachel marry. They end up moving to the Wilder boarding house to live.
This was the second to last episode television show.
