Who played Cassandra on Little House on the Prairie?

Cassandra was the adopted daughter of Charles and Caroline Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie.  But some eagle-eyed fans might recognize her for her post-acting career as a television host.

Cassandra was portrayed by Melissa Francis during the later seasons of the show.  Today she is better known as a former host on Fox News (from 2012 through 2020), although she no longer appears on the network.
